Dear parents,
We were very lucky last half term to have parents who came in to bake. We are hoping to continue baking over the next term.
Baking is great for fine and gross motor skills, communication skills, building friendships and for just getting messy!
We are going to be asking for acontribution towards baking this half term of £1 per child.
This will help to buy all the ingredients we will need.

I would like to start up a regular baking session for Class Jonah and wondered if there would be anybody who would be willing to come into school and help?
I am also in need of any parents or family members who are free to come and assist with readers. If you think you would like to come and help in the classroom please let me know.

As well as building a town we have been preparing for our Cafe.
Today we have been busy baking. Here’s are a few photos to wet your appetite.
Cafe will be open in the afternoon for people to drop in and have a light bite and drink for a small donation. Cafe opens at 1.30pm.
Making dinosaur eggs from rice crispier, marshmallows and chocolate was fun. We practised Mastering mixing skills and using baking equipment, one of our favourites being the microwave.
What a fab day we’ve had raising lots of money for Red Nose Day.
We all came in wearing red and some of us with wacky hair too!
In the morning we all went outside to do our scoot-a-thon it was great fun. Miss Irwin and Miss Kippen joined in and had a race. Miss Kippen won! Miss Irwin said it was because Miss Kippen had longer legs!! 😄
