Mud Kitchen update!

The Mud kitchen designs have begun and so has the building work.

Having Percy’s presents for the Mud kitchen got us excited! Miss Irwin cant wait for us to see what Mr Holford and Mr Amies made on Friday afternoon for us in the Investigation Area. When it’s all finished we will have an opening ceremony and invite mummies and daddies to come and see it.
Look at how wonderful it looks already…

Carpentry and designing

The last 2 days we’ve taken our designs of our mini mes and are starting to make them.
We’ve learnt how to sand, tie knots and use material to make them seem like real puppets, all based on our designs.

Sanding was fun, even with a few splinters!

Our designs started to come to life soon as all the body parts were attached. Then we had to find our materials. Using our maths skills we had to measure, cut and adjust materials to make hair and clothes.
