Space Day

Wow! What a day. To say we were excited and have loved every minute has been a little bit of an understatement.

We spent our day involved in a variety of space themed activities. We had to work on the moon in the ice water tray just like the astronauts. That meant wearing gloves and trying to build space buggies in ice cold conditions.

Outside we were making moon rocks and craters.

We had to use our super segmenting and blending to write super sentences about Space and what we knew or liked. We also got to get messy with baby Alien’s in slime! br />

In the afternoon we made flags to put on the moon and 3D aliens.

We also had a rocket launching competition outside with Miss Kippen and tasted some Astronaut food trying to guess what is was with Miss Irwin. br />
