As a school we are entering the BBC Radio2 500 words competition.
In Class Jonah we have been learning to write sentences and we are getting really good. Miss Irwin thinks we can have a go at writing a short story of just a few sentences. We know we have wonderful imaginations so we just need a little help writing them down.
So if Mum’s and Dad’s want to help us at home to write our own stories we can bring them in before Friday the 14th February and we can enter them into the school competition.
If we are writing we will need to use our Super Sentence rules:
1) Always start with a capital letter.
2) Use finger spaces.
3) Segment and blend our words.
4) Use full stops, question marks or exclamation marks.
5) Read it back.
If we can’t remember our super sentence rules get us to show you how we do our Kungfu sentences. 🙂
